I'm not sure exactly where to look for the steps because I'm in a unique situation or atleast I think I am. I need help on installing the LOLLIPOP firmware (N900TUVUFOB6) with a custom recovery and root. I am currently on a rooted note 3 v4.3 with the N900TUVUBMI7 baseband version.do I need to update my bootloader to a newer version? Should I atleast do a stock update to 4.4? Should I be using which custom recovery?
If I'm correct, I can't just flash the latest custom recovery and then flash the newest lollipop (for example the newest TEKHD like this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2672393
Or can I? What If I just did a normal software update to upgrade me to lollipop, will the bootloader be blocked, disabling me from installing a custom recovery since I would want to root as well. And then would I be able to resume the steps from TEKHD instruction?
