Hey guys,
I recently bought a Galaxy S3 i9300 from my friend for . She was going to throw it away because it was stuck at the boot screen. So I figured I could make use of it by re-flashing a rom via odin.
I know for a fact that the phone is rooted and has CWM for recovery, but it doesn't boot into the recovery either.
I tried flashing TWRP to it via Odin, but there's absolutely no download bar in the download mode appearing. Odin either says 'Fail' or gets stuck trying to install it.
I also downloaded one of the official firmwares from Samsung's website but that didn't work either; again, no download bar appears when I start the flashing, but it IS in download mode.
The letters at the top say;
Odin Mode
Product Name: GT-I9300
Custom Binary Download: Yes (5 counts)
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
Any ideas what it could be? This isn't hard bricked, is it?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks!
Edit: It won't turn on at all any more, NOW it is hard bricked haha.
