Bluetooth Support For Android Reverse Tethering [Screenshots Pending] topic


Hello all,

This post is an addon to [Tool][Windows Only][Root] Android Reverse Tethering created by capslock66 so all the credits go to him. This addon is for people who are irritated because of the wired process and want to go wireless.

Please follow all the steps mentioned in [Tool][Windows Only][Root] Android Reverse Tethering and make sure you are able to use the reverse tethering using USB cable.

Steps:
  1. Connect your mobile to your Computer/Laptop having a Bluetooth Connection using a USB cable.

  2. Now open command prompt and enter these commands

  3. adb tcpip 4455 (this can be any port you want)

  4. Then disconnect the USB and Turn On Bluetooth Tethering (Setting->Wireless & Netoworks(more)->Tethering and Portable Hotspot->Bluetooth Tethering)

  5. Now pair your device to computer/laptop and then open the bluetooth devices window.

  6. Now establish a connection using access point and connect the computer/laptop to your mobile

  7. You can see a Bluetooth Connetion in the Network and Sharing Center

  8. Now open CMD and run this command ipconfig /all

  9. You will see all the conenction available, now search for the bluetooth connection you previously saw in the network center

  10. Now enter adb connect [defaut gateway of the bluetooth connection]:4455(or the port that you have specified earlier)

  11. Now run the AndroidTool.exe and refresh for the devices, you can see your device listed there

  12. Press connect and start browsing wireless
