[Tutorial] How to make your very own kernal Boot splash screen topic

Hello all, i was editing my kernel for my own liking, im not a developer or anything i just learnt simple things off little tutorials. i am not stealing work nor making stuff my own im just giving an example of something you can do.... so previously on my Sony z i had the Evo mix kernel and i hated the boot splash screen... you know the first image that pops up on boot saying "Sony" well i decided i wanted to edit that. if you do not have a graphic design program like Photoshop or gimp i suggest getting one if you want to create your own. If you want me to make you one i can create you a half decent one by your request. :)
I originally got this idea off a developer off this site because i complained how i didn't like the splash screen and he pulled me into this direction it took me a while to figure out how it all worked because i had no one to help me so i decided to make a tutorial for people who will have the same struggle :P

if you are using Photoshop to create your own dimensions of your picture must be 1920x1080 pixels (height being 1920 and width being 1080) and resolution must be at 300 otherwise it will come out as all blurry and horrible.
SAVE AS PNG FORMAT and make a back up of a PSD format aswell incase you need to edit it

- Instructions -
-Things you will need:
LogoFlasher by Olivier- ThreadXDALogoFlasher
This simple converter By Yagya Gaire (No password this time) - PNG TO RLE
Gimp or photoshop
Some sort of Custom Recovery such as TWRP or CWM

Virus scan for simple converter - virustotal

- Tutorial finally! -

Step 1 - Create your design or use one that you requested by me

Step 2- Put the PNG to RLE converter on your desktop and go into the folder
step 3- then go to "read me first" and it will have a set of instructions if you are to lazy then this is what you do
1. Put all your .PNG Files that you want to convert to .RLE into the PNG-Images folder.
2. Run image-2-rle.bat
3. What are you expecting? It's already over. Check out the RLE-Images folder for your RLE file.

step 4 - copy your logo to the "bootlogo" in Olivier's logoflasher.zip that was provided. Backup the original in case of errors. rename your RLE file to Logo now you're basically done place the Logoflasher.zip into your SD card and flash the file with a Custom recovery such as TWRP or CWM.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS OR DAMAGES TO YOUR DEVICE USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
