Hello. I have an unrooted Fujitsu Stylistic M532 US version. It came stock with 4.0 but I was able to upgrade it to 4.1.1 by hacking a Fujitsu UK ROM to make it suitable for a US device. I turned the device on the other day and was stuck at the Fujitsu splash screen ( it was working fine til then). I went into android recovery and cleared the cache. It was still stuck. I went into recovery and factory reset it. It then became stuck on the android splash screen. I've probably done this 10 times now with no luck. So I tried to load the ROM (.pkg) I used to flash it to 4.1.1 via "load update from external sources". It finds it but immediately aborts, I guess because it is the same version number. My question is can I load this ROM any other way, e.g. by rooting? Fujitsu support will not give me the stock ROM and wants 0 + shipping to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help.
