I am looking for advice on where to start.
I have a specific Android TV Box that I would like to completely change the Home screen on.
it already has root
I can SSH into the box
I have the Extracted FW on my PC
& it is on Android 4.4
About me.
I am not a kid & not looking to learn a few basics tricks, I understand it will take some learning and money to do this, its just where I want to start.
I used to do VB programming many years ago, I think it was VB6
I know VB Script that I used in Classic ASP web programming
But I have never worked on Android or Linux before.
I think the best place for me to start is the Basics & go forward from there.
My Main goal is to customize the Home page, changing the Icons and short cuts
adding widgets would be my second goal
I am not concerned with App Dev at this point. I will learn that later.
Any direction on what I should search for as far as classes or Tutorial Videos would be great
